While there are several differences in these drawings, there are enough similarities to speculate whether they were copies of the same original.  (The image on the left is made to fit a square woodcut printer's block.  The image on the right is drawn to fit within a circle.)  Stars come out of the mouths of both fish.  Most importantly to me, the upper fish in each image has a crest behind the head, but the bottom fish does not, even though the fish in the Voynich image is drawn right side up as is the fish above it.  The snout on the bottom fish "hooks" more than the snout on the top fish in both images.  (Do fish actually have snouts?)
